I arrived at school. Then we had to get our hats get and drink bottles and then jump on the bus and then we were off. We had a sing-off. Girls against boys. To be honest with you I think the boys won. Then we came to a stop. We have arrived at surf rescue and we are learning the peoples names and what they do. They are called Ari , Emma, Liam, and Val. They are surf rescue and they help people at the beach. After we learnt a bit about them we went outside and started playing a game called infinity tag. We had to tag people on the back and then they will have to freeze. The person who got them keeps on going until another person gets him than whoever he got they could be free. We also played another game called evolution. Then we had to go with Ari and Emma to learn more about rips and the beach and how to spot rips. Also what to do when you're stuck in one. This is what you do you lie on your back and put your hand up to get the lifeguard’s attention. But if they don’t see you-you have to swim out to the left or the right. But the main thing is do not panic that’s the worst thing you could possibly do in a rip. Then they showed us there cool little toys. They showed their beach buggy and their boat and their chubes and much more but first they showed us a boat. The boat had wooden oars in them and chubes and a blunt knife. Why was the knife blunt you ask? Because the boat was inflatable. And if the boat popped they would have to pay a lot of money to fix it up. Then we had lunch. After that, we were off going to the beach. The waves were humongous and it felt like I was flying every time I was off the ground high on a wave. My favourite part was when the waves came at me that was amazing that is Probably the biggest waves I have been in. Then we had to go back to school. The busses were here waiting and then I gathered all of my stuff jumped on the bus then home. I had an awesome day.
